Usl Umbria 1 restarts construction on healthcare facilities

Usl Umbria 1 has officially restarted construction activities for two healthcare facilities in the Umbria region: the Casa della Comunità in Monteluce, Perugia, and the Ospedale di Comunità in Umbertide.

Following the handover of construction sites to a new economic operator in July, preparatory technical and organizational phases have been completed. As of September 3, preliminary operations including site cleaning and external area organization are underway to prepare for scaffolding installation and the resumption of full construction work.

The Monteluce project involves an investment of approximately 5.2 million euros with an estimated duration of 360 days. These works are funded by the PNRR (National Recovery and Resilience Plan), with additional company investment funds available to ensure project continuity if necessary. Similar preliminary verification and cleaning activities have commenced at the Umbertide site to facilitate the completion of previously suspended works.
