USM Alger and CR Belouizdad start pre‑season training camps in Tunisia

Algerian club USM Alger departed for Tunisia on Tuesday to begin a 19‑day pre‑season preparation for the 2026‑2027 campaign. The camp is split between Aïn Draham, where the team will spend nine days focusing on intensive physical work, and Tabarka for a further ten days devoted to technical and tactical drills and team cohesion. The delegation is scheduled to return to Algiers on 16 August 2026, with friendly matches to be announced later.

Meanwhile, CR Belouizdad, also from Algeria, is holding its pre‑season camp in Tabarka under the direction of new head coach Nabil Maâloul. The club has already played three friendlies, recording a 1‑1 draw with Al Hazm Ras, a 1‑0 win over PSS Sakiet Eddair and a 2‑1 victory against San Pedro, allowing the side to test new players such as Mehdi Boudjemaâ and Yousri Bouzok. The preparation aims to integrate recent signings and refine tactical plans ahead of the upcoming domestic season.
