USM Alger bolsters squad with Benguit signing and two midfield additions
Algerian football club USM Alger announced the signing of midfielder Abderaouf Benguit on a four‑year contract, bringing him back from CR Belouizdad. The club also completed the arrivals of defensive midfielder Dhirar Bensaâdallah from Olympique Akbou and attacking midfielder Salah‑Eddine Bouziani from Paradou AC, marking its third set of summer recruitments.
Departures include midfielders Islam Merili and Brahim Benzaza as well as goalkeeper Kamel Soufi, with additional transfers or loans still under consideration. Coach Lamine N’diaye’s contract was extended ahead of the 2026‑27 season, and the team began pre‑season training, including a planned camp in Milan.
