USMNT youth stars lead perfect international window

The United States Men’s National Team (USMNT) completed a perfect 4-0-0 run during the September/October 2026 international window, securing their place in the CONCACAF Nations League quarterfinals. Under the leadership of Mauricio Pochettino, the team showcased a significant influx of young talent, including teenagers Julian Hall, Cavan Sullivan, and Justin Ellis.

The USMNT secured victories against Peru (4-1), Chile (4-2), Mexico (3-0), and Canada (1-0). The 3-0 win over Mexico was highlighted by goals from Hall, Sullivan, and Malik Tillman.

This period saw eight teenagers debut for the extended squad, with four of them scoring six of the team's 11 goals. Many of these players, such as Sullivan and Hall, were fast-tracked to professional contracts before age 16 and come from diverse immigrant backgrounds or established soccer families.
