Usnija Redžepova's former Belgrade home sold to new family

The former home of the late legendary singer Usnija Redžepova and her husband, Svetomir Šešić Šelet, in the Dušanovac neighborhood of Belgrade has been sold and is currently occupied by a new family.

Following the singer's death 11 years ago, her brother, Resad Redžepov, sold her assets, including unique antiques and valuables. Neighbors expressed regret that the property was not preserved as a memorial museum dedicated to the artist.

Local residents recalled the singer's difficult final months, noting she was bedridden due to illness and deeply affected by the loss of her husband. Neighbors mentioned that among famous figures, only Lepa Lukić frequently visited her during that time.
