Ustka hosts XXII World Summer Polonij Games

The XXII World Summer Polonij Games have officially commenced in Ustka, Poland. Nearly 1,000 athletes representing 26 countries, including participants from Argentina, the United States, and Canada, have gathered for the event.

The games feature 16 disciplines and nearly 30 competitions held both in stadiums and outdoor venues. The opening ceremony included a parade of over 500 athletes and the lighting of the Olympic flame in the port by Barbara Madejczyk, a former Olympic javelin thrower from Ustka.
