USV Jena and regional sports clubs announce 2026/27 schedules

Various sports organizations in Germany have released upcoming schedules and updates for the 2026/27 season.

USV Jena has published its rugby department's match dates, which include youth, women's, and men's divisions. Notably, the women's 7-a-side rugby team is ascending to the highest German league. The club also announced a children and youth tournament scheduled for late August.

In football, a men's team scheduled a test match against SG Dresden Striesen to be held without spectators due to regional regulations. The match features a newly assembled squad under the direction of trainer Erik Schmidt.
