UT Arlington volleyball splits recent matches against North Texas and Texas State

The University of Texas Arlington volleyball team experienced mixed results in recent matchups. The Mavericks defeated North Texas 3-1 to open the Texas Challenge at Shelton Gym, improving their record to 4-3. During that match, UTA maintained a strong hitting percentage of .266 and utilized kills from Camryn McMinn and Sophia Krichev to secure the win.

However, the Mavericks subsequently lost a five-set match to Texas State, falling 2-3 at Shelton Gym. Despite winning the first two sets 25-20 and 25-23, UTA dropped the final three sets with scores of 21-25, 14-25, and 10-15.
