UT Cancún launches first public university high school program in Quintana Roo

The Universidad Tecnológica de Cancún (UT Cancún) has launched a new high school program, becoming the first public university in Quintana Roo to offer upper secondary education. The program, known as the Bachillerato Nacional de las Universidades del Subsistema Tecnológico (BNUST), utilizes a mixed modality that combines in-person classes with virtual learning environments.

The university welcomed a first generation of 30 students into this new high school track, alongside 1,350 new students entering undergraduate and engineering programs. The institution offers nine different degree programs across four academic divisions, including Business and Marketing, and Accounting, available in both in-person and mixed formats.
