UT Tyler and UT Dallas athletes compete in ITA South Central Regional

Student-athletes from the University of Texas at Tyler and the University of Texas at Dallas participated in the ITA South Central Regional Championship in Tyler, Texas.

At UT Tyler, several men's singles competitors, including Samuel Antwi, Malo Poulesquen, and Manuel Lassacher, advanced past the Round of 16. In the women's singles draw, top-seeded Yona Bancarel secured a dominant victory to advance to the Round of 16. However, UT Tyler's men's doubles teams were eliminated in the Round of 16, and several women's singles and doubles runs also concluded.

At UT Dallas, the men's doubles pairing of Jose Perez Castillo and Antoni Pankowski reached the semifinals after winning three consecutive matches. In the consolation bracket, Alexandre Sulpicy and Matheus de Freitas Zanellato also advanced to the semifinals. In singles competition, Mason Fair secured a victory in the consolation second round to move into the quarterfinals.
