UT Tyler golf and UTSA tennis report recent tournament results

The University of Texas at Tyler men’s golf team finished ninth overall at The Dewsweeper tournament held at TPC San Antonio. The team recorded a 54-hole total of 23 over par. Preston Chabaud led the Patriots on the leaderboard, finishing tied for 25th, while Corbin Murray tied for 34th.

In tennis, the UTSA men’s team concluded its first fall competition at the Jake Frederick Memorial Islander Open at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi. The squad achieved a 14-1 record in open singles. Notable performances included Enzo Vargas winning the Blue Flight, Gabriel Jalouneix winning the Green Flight, and the co-championship of the Red Flight by Dmitri Goubin and Timeo Bretin.
