UTA appointed ambassador for DC Studios film ‘Clayface’

Actor and model UTA has been appointed as the ambassador for the DC Studios film ‘Clayface’, scheduled for release on October 30.

The psychological thriller depicts the origin of the Batman villain, following young actor Matt Hagen (played by Tom Ellis Harris) as he loses his career, fame, and physical face following a specific incident, eventually transforming into the mud monster known as Clayface. The film is written by Mike Flanagan and directed by James Watkins, with production involvement from James Gunn and Peter Safran.

UTA, who recently debuted in the Netflix series ‘Gas Human’ playing a character that transforms into a monster, expressed a deep connection to the protagonist's descent. UTA described the film as a ‘sad monster story’ that combines intense human drama with high-quality visual effects and prosthetic makeup, noting that the story’s ambiguity regarding good and evil will resonate with younger generations.
