UTA Arad faces squad crisis ahead of FC Argeș match

UTA Arad is experiencing a significant personnel crisis heading into their upcoming match against FC Argeș. Following a victory against CFR Cluj, the team has lost captain Alexandru Benga and Dmytro Pospielov due to suspensions after both players reached four yellow cards.

The club is also struggling with numerous medical issues. Răzvan Oaidă, Alexi Pitu, and Richard Odada have undergone surgery and are unlikely to play again this season. Additionally, Andrei Dorobanțu faces a long-term absence due to a shoulder injury, while other players like Andrea Padula, Robert Bădescu, and Din Alomerovic are dealing with ongoing fitness or health concerns.

Coach Adrian Mihalcea has had to rely on tactical improvisations in recent matches. For the upcoming fixture, the defensive lineup remains uncertain, with the club source noting that it is difficult to predict how the defensive line will be structured given the lack of available players.
