Utah 2034 supports inaugural youth sports giving day
The Organizing Committee for the 2034 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, known as Utah 2034, has announced its support for the inaugural Utah Youth Sports Giving Day. Scheduled for September 12–26, the statewide campaign aims to raise $3 million to assist nonprofit organizations working to expand access to youth sports.
Partnering with Miller Sports + Entertainment, the initiative seeks to mitigate financial barriers that prevent children from participating in athletic programs. Major supporters include the Larry H. & Gail Miller Family Foundation and the Daniels Fund. Utah 2034 CEO Brad Wilson stated that expanding access to Olympic and Paralympic sports is a central part of the committee’s vision to build a lasting legacy and encourage lifelong healthy habits in Utah.
