Utah and BYU golfers post strong results in Colorado tournaments

Collegiate golf tournaments in Colorado saw strong performances from University of Utah and BYU athletes. At the Mark Simpson Invitational, the Utah golf team tied for fifth place after two rounds with a collective score of 9-under par. Gabriel Palacios and Sergio Jimenez led the team, both finishing the day tied for seventh place at 5-under par.

In the Les Fowler Colorado Individual Invitational held at Bear Creek Golf Club, BYU golfer Cooper Jones secured third place with a total of 3-under par. This marked Jones's second career top-five finish. Other BYU players also performed well, with freshman Lincoln Markham tying for seventh and sophomore David Liechty tying for ninth.
