Utah candidates to hold campaign forums in Summit County

Candidates for various local, state, and federal offices are scheduled to participate in several campaign events across Summit County, Utah, throughout October ahead of the November 3 general election.

A nonpartisan public forum hosted by the Wasatch Back Chapter of the Citizens’ Climate Lobby will take place on October 6 in Park City. The event, titled ‘A Livable Utah Is on the Ballot’, will feature candidates for Utah House Districts 4 and 59, as well as the Senate District 20 challenger. Discussions will focus on regional issues including water conservation, the Great Salt Lake, air quality, energy, data centers, and economic development.

Additionally, Democratic candidates have scheduled a series of appearances, including a ‘Coffee and Conversation’ with House District 59 candidate Celeste Johnson on October 8, and a campaign event featuring Summit County Clerk Malena Stevens and House District 4 candidate Zane Woolstenhulme on October 11. A virtual town hall for Utah’s 3rd Congressional District candidate Kent Stewart Udell is set for October 14, alongside a Utah Democratic Party fundraiser in Park City.
