Utah hosts upcoming religious and educational conferences

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is preparing for two major upcoming gatherings in Utah. The Utah Area YSA Conference for young single adults will take place from August 14-15. Co-chairs Zach Sutton and Shelby Hurst noted that the event serves as a significant gathering for thousands of attendees to participate in service projects and build community.

Additionally, BYU Education Week 2026 is scheduled for August 17-21. The conference will feature a devotional by Elder Patrick Kearon of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles and “America 250 in Concert” performances. Attendees will also experience campus updates, including the newly opened Creamery on Ninth and improved campus navigation following recent construction progress.
