Utah Jazz defeat Phoenix Suns in preseason finale

The Utah Jazz secured a 119-116 victory over the Phoenix Suns in their final 2026 preseason game. The win was highlighted by a 28-9 run during the third and fourth quarters that allowed Utah to overcome a 13-point deficit.

Utah's recent top draft picks, Darryn Peterson and Ace Bailey, both participated in the matchup. Bailey recorded 12 points on three field goal attempts, marking his best preseason performance. Peterson contributed late in the game, including a crucial floater that helped seal the win.

On the injury front, the Jazz entered the game without Jusuf Nurkic (foot), Blake Hinson (hamstring), and Trey Alexander (knee). However, Kyle Filipowski is set to make his season debut following recovery from offseason back surgery to repair a herniated disc.
