Utah Jazz prepare for 2026-2027 season with high expectations

The Utah Jazz are preparing for the 2026-2027 NBA season as they approach training camp. Following several seasons of rebuilding, the franchise is expected to compete for a postseason berth with a roster featuring high-profile young talent.

A central storyline for the upcoming season is the integration of Darryn Peterson, the No. 2 overall pick in the 2026 NBA draft. Peterson is viewed as a potential day-one starter and Rookie of the Year candidate. The team's success may also depend on the continued development of Keyonte George and Ace Bailey, alongside veterans like Lauri Markkanen and Jaren Jackson Jr.

In addition to offensive potential, head coach Will Hardy is focused on improving the team's defensive performance. Fans can access games through various platforms, including local broadcasts on KJZZ 14, the Jazz+ streaming service, and national coverage on ESPN, ABC, and NBC.
