Utah Jazz rookie Darryn Peterson, the No. 2 overall pick in the 2026 NBA draft, played three Summer League games in Las Vegas and told ESPN’s Malika Andrews that he feels "100 percent" healthy and ready for the Jazz’s regular‑season debut this fall.

Across the three outings he averaged 20.7 points, shot 30.8% from the floor and 23.1% from three‑point range, while adding four rebounds, 4.7 assists, one steal and 1.3 blocks per game. His best performance was a 28‑point game against the Atlanta Hawks.

The Jazz have kept him out of their Friday night Summer League matchup with the Portland Trail Blazers. Multiple video highlights showcasing Peterson’s play and other Jazz Summer League moments were released online.
