Utenos Juventus wins preseason basketball match against Baku Sabah

Utenos Juventus basketball players began their preseason control match cycle with a victory against Baku Sabah from Azerbaijan. The game, held in Birštonas, ended with a score of 89:84 in favor of the Lithuanian team.

After a difficult first quarter where they trailed 21:28, Juventus improved their defense in the second quarter to close the gap to 39:44 by halftime. Following the break, the team took control of the game, leading 71:62 after the third quarter before securing the win in the final period.

Cameron Reynolds led the scoring with 21 points, supported by Brandon Huntley-Hatfield with 14 points and Tevias Jones with 13 points. The team played without Justas Furmanavičius, Kenny Pohto, and Paulius Valinskas. Juventus is scheduled to continue their preseason preparations against a team from Jonava on August 29.
