UTEP Miners Begin Training Camp and Host Exhibition Game Ahead of 2026 Season

UTEP Miners football started its 2026 fall training camp at the Sun Bowl stadium in El Paso, Texas, 31 days before the season opener. The first game will be an away contest against the Oklahoma Sooners on September 4, a schedule rated among the toughest in the Mountain West. The UTEP soccer program, led by fourth‑year head coach Gibbs Keeton, will hold a free exhibition match on Saturday at University Field against NJCAA member Cochise College.
