UTHH workers prepare to sign new labor agreement

The Sindicato Único de Trabajadores de las Universidades Tecnológicas del Estado de Hidalgo (SUTUTEH) has announced that the signing of General Working Conditions with the Universidad Tecnológica de la Huasteca Hidalguense (UTHH) is scheduled for September 7.

Following communication between the subsecretary of Higher Secondary and Higher Education, Daniel Fragoso Torres, and SUTUTEH general secretary Efrén Juárez Castillo, the signing is set for 11:00 AM at the university facilities. Workers have indicated they will continue demonstrations starting at 7:00 AM on Monday until the document is formally signed, ensuring it reflects previously negotiated terms.

If the agreement is formalized without legal observations, the mobilization will end. Otherwise, workers plan to travel to Pachuca on September 8 to deliver the signed document to the State of Hidalgo's Secretariat of Labor and Social Welfare.
