Miguel Riglos to host National Criollo Grill Festival

The town of Miguel Riglos is preparing for the seventh edition of the Fiesta Nacional del Asador Criollo, scheduled for September 20. The event aims to gather approximately 800 diners for a day dedicated to Pampean gastronomy, tradition, and culture.

A central highlight of the festival is a competition featuring more than 30 pairs of asadores (grill masters) working across various fire pits. The event was officially presented by La Pampa tourism officials, including Saúl Echeveste, alongside local leaders such as Mayor Elio Lautaro Calzado and Firefighter Association President Ariel Alejo.

In addition to the cooking competition, the festival will include an artisan and entrepreneur market, musical performances by El Entrevero, and a showcase of local products such as Pampean wines, bread, and desserts. Visitors will also have the opportunity to tour the grilling area to observe the traditional techniques used by the participants.
