Utility Global names Robert Lane as chief financial officer

Utility Global announced the appointment of Robert Lane as its chief financial officer. Lane, a capital‑markets veteran with more than three decades of financial leadership in energy and industrial firms, previously served as CFO of Quva Pharma, executive vice‑president and CFO of Sunnova Energy International, and held senior finance roles at Spark Energy and Emerge Energy Services. He has overseen dozens of capital‑markets transactions worth tens of billions of dollars.

The hiring comes as Utility Global pivots to a commercialization phase for its proprietary H2Gen® technology, which produces low‑carbon hydrogen from industrial off‑gases or biogas while capturing high‑purity carbon dioxide. The company plans to expand commercial projects and its footprint across North America, Asia and Europe, with Lane expected to lead the finance function through this growth period.
