Utility service interruptions reported in Neuquén and Daule

Utility service disruptions have been reported in Neuquén and Daule. In Neuquén, approximately 40 families in the Don Vicente subdivision experienced a sudden gas outage following a construction error. The interruption occurred during a project to redirect gas to another area. Camuzzi technicians have been working to manually reopen gas valves at individual homes to restore service, though some residents remain without gas pending inspections.

In Daule, residents in sectors including La Aurora, Villa Italia, and Plaza Madeira have faced recurring electricity outages. The Corporación Nacional de Electricidad (CNEL) attributed the most recent interruption to a distribution system overload. Local residents have expressed frustration over the frequency of these outages and voiced concerns regarding potential damage to household appliances caused by voltage fluctuations.
