UTM Career Centre hosts Get Hired Fair for student networking

The University of Toronto Mississauga (UTM) Career Centre hosted its Fall 2026 Get Hired Fair on September 29, where more than 1,500 students met with 56 employers. The event featured a range of organizations, from various startups to major firms such as DHL and TD Bank.

Career Centre Director Felicity Morgan noted that while students often hope for immediate employment, the primary value of the fair lies in networking and making impressions that can influence future interview decisions. The event is designed to help students navigate a competitive job market and learn how to approach recruiters effectively.
