UTN Córdoba launches new nuclear engineering training ecosystem

The Universidad Tecnológica Nacional (UTN) Córdoba is launching a new Nuclear Training Ecosystem to address the growing demand for specialized professionals in the nuclear and energy sectors. This academic initiative includes three distinct programs: a five-year Nuclear Engineering degree focused on design, operation, and safety; a four-year Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Facility Management; and a three-year University Technician degree in Radiochemistry.

Located in Córdoba, a major nuclear hub in Argentina, the program aims to leverage the existing scientific and industrial infrastructure. Students will have opportunities for professional practice and collaboration with key regional entities, including the Embalse Nuclear Power Plant, the Córdoba Atomic Center, Dioxitek, and CONUAR. The initiative is designed to support the country's technological development and the transition toward future energy needs.
