UTN Reconquista joins Santa Fe territorial planning program

The Universidad Tecnológica Nacional (UTN) Reconquista faculty is participating in the “Planificar Santa Fe” provincial program. This initiative aims to advance territorial planning across several departments in northern Santa Fe, including Vera, 9 de Julio, San Cristóbal, and San Justo.

Following a pilot program in the General Obligado department, the project is now focusing on the Bajos Submeridionales region within the Vera department. A team of more than 20 professionals has been assembled to conduct surveys and planning for approximately 40 localities. The goal is to ensure orderly urban growth that balances development with rural and productive activities, while incorporating ecological and sustainability criteria. The survey process for these districts is expected to be completed within one year.
