UTSA to host South Florida football game with ESPN broadcast

UTSA Athletics has announced details for its upcoming home football game against South Florida, scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 8, at the Alamodome. The kickoff for the annual ‘Lights Out’ game is set for 6:30 p.m.

As part of the event, ESPN will host a live broadcast of ‘SportsCenter on Campus’ at 4 p.m. in Rowdy Town Live, located in H-E-B Plaza. The broadcast, hosted by Matt Barrie, will feature university traditions and San Antonio culture. Fans attending the broadcast can access various concessions, including free spicy grilled chicken wings and smoked BBQ chicken nachos, while the Alamodome will provide free popcorn to the first 1,000 attendees.

Tickets for the game are available via Ticketmaster or by calling 210-458-UTSA. UTSA has transitioned to digital ticketing through its Account Manager system. Current UTSA students receive free admission to home athletic events and can purchase up to four guest tickets for the student section.
