UTSA women's athletics programs have seen recent activity in both soccer and tennis. In women's soccer, Santa Clara University defeated UTSA 1-0 on Thursday, ending the Roadrunners' seven-match unbeaten streak to start the season. Kennedy Schoennauer scored the decisive goal in the 86th minute following an assist from Jacey Martinez.

In women's tennis, the UTSA squad is beginning its fall 2026 season at the Kimbell Memorial Invitational hosted by St. Mary’s. The tournament features competition against Texas Wesleyan, Our Lady of the Lake, and UIW. The Roadrunners roster includes five returning members and three newcomers, including two Division I transfers.
