Uttar Pradesh becomes India's economic growth engine, says Yogi Adityanath

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath stated that the state has transitioned from a 'sick state' to a primary growth engine for India's economy. He emphasized that the region is moving beyond being just a large market and labor pool to becoming a global player driven by the talent of its youth, artisans, and entrepreneurs.

To showcase local products on a global stage, the fourth edition of the UP International Trade Show is scheduled to take place from September 25 to 29 at the India Expo Mart in Greater Noida. This initiative aims to provide recognition to the work of local producers and entrepreneurs.

Adityanath highlighted that government initiatives, specifically within the MSME sector and the One District One Product (ODOP) scheme, have contributed to the creation of over 40 million jobs. He further noted that 15 trillion rupees in investment has been implemented in the state, with the state's contribution to construction exceeding 200 billion rupees.
