Uttar Pradesh chief minister signs over ₹50,000 crore investment MoUs in Karnataka

Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath visited Bangalore and signed 15 memoranda of understanding worth more than ₹50,000 crore. The agreements, concluded with technology, innovation and GSWC companies, aim to establish global‑capacity centres and attract large‑scale investment to North Karnataka. Adityanath highlighted the region’s transformation over the past nine years from a “bimaru” state to a hub of skilled labour and affordable land, encouraging further private sector participation. The MoUs were signed in the presence of the state’s finance and parliamentary affairs minister, Suresh Kumar Khanna.

The announcements underscore a major push to boost industrial and technological development in the region, with expectations of significant job creation and economic growth.
