Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath launches ₹516 crore development projects

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inaugurated 262 development projects worth a total of ₹516 crore in the Katara constituency of Gonda district and in Karnailganj. The projects, amounting to ₹256 crore in Gonda and ₹260 crore in Karnailganj, were unveiled amid a ceremony that included child feeding and a walk‑through of exhibition stalls.

Adityanath warned that any attempt to disrupt festivals or public celebrations would face strict action, contrasting the current situation with the period before 2017 when frequent rioting and curfews were reported in the region. He highlighted that improved security has encouraged investment beyond traditional hubs such as Noida and Greater Ghaziabad, extending to Gonda, and noted that local youth have benefitted from government recruitment drives. The chief minister also referenced the broader development initiatives covering all districts, tehsils, development blocks and municipalities across the state, emphasizing inclusive access to schemes.

The speech linked the progress to the “double‑engine” government’s policies, citing the completion of the Ram temple in Ayodhya as a symbol of the administration’s strength and the upliftment of the region.
