Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath Announces Shivaji Museum and Major Development Projects in Agra
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath visited Agra and announced that a museum honoring Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj will be built in the city, emphasizing that public funds will not be used for a "Mughal" museum. The museum is slated for completion by the end of the year.
During the same event he inaugurated 53 development projects across the Agra North, Agra Rural and Agra South assembly segments, with a total outlay of more than ₹342 crore. The initiatives include a node of the Defense Manufacturing Corridor, plans for an international airport, smart‑city and safe‑city upgrades, and the approval of NOCs for 468 industrial units. The projects are presented as part of a broader push to transform Agra into an industrial and tourism hub in the Braj region.
