Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath blames SP and Congress for silence on alleged Waqf land theft

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath accused the Samajwadi Party and the Congress of attacking the Sanatan faith while remaining silent on alleged irregularities involving Waqf land. Speaking in Pratapgarh, he claimed thousands of hectares of land meant for the poor had been sold in the name of Waqf and criticized the opposition for not raising the issue.

Adityanath also linked the matter to the Ayodhya temple dispute, stating that the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Trust operates without interference and urging citizens to question the opposition’s right to comment on religious matters. He suggested the parties were changing “colours faster than a chameleon” and warned that the state would no longer be influenced by them.
