Yogi Adityanath turns 54, receiving political congratulations and public celebrations
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath marked his 54th birthday with a wave of felicitations from national leaders, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, and other senior ministers. The celebrations also drew wishes from opposition figures such as BSP supremo Mayawati and local MPs.
Supporters organised events across the state, notably a large gathering at the Anjaniye Hanuman Temple in Varanasi where a 54‑kilogram laddu cake was cut. The ceremony featured the planting of 54 saplings to symbolize the chief minister's age, with a pledge to plant a total of 5,400 trees under existing development schemes by the end of July. The birthday trend trended on social media under the hashtag #YogiAdityanath.
