Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath inaugurates renovated corridor and podcast studio at Lucknow legislative building

On 2–3 August 2026, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath presided over the inauguration of several development and beautification projects at the state’s Legislative Assembly and Council in Lucknow. The ceremony marked the opening of a renovated ground‑floor corridor, a digital library for the Legislative Council, a newly built podcast studio for the Assembly, and aesthetic upgrades to the Council chamber. Adityanath also inspected a helicopter‑shaped model that displayed images of Uttar Pradesh’s history, cultural heritage and religious sites. Senior officials, including Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya, Finance and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Suresh Khanna, and other ministers and legislators, attended the event. The monsoon session of both houses was scheduled to begin on the following Monday.
