Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath inaugurates Saifai Rural Medical Institute expansion

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inaugurated a series of development projects in the Itawa, Jaswantnagar and Bharathana assembly segments, highlighting that the late Mulayam Singh Yadav had envisioned a Saifai Rural Medical Institute. He stated, "Mulayam Singh Yadav's dream of a Saifai Rural Medical Institute has been fulfilled," and credited the BJP government for completing the work.

The state government completed a 500‑bed super‑specialty block at a cost of ₹490 crore and a 300‑bed Gyan block for ₹232 crore. Together with other initiatives, the projects total ₹604 crore across 128 schemes. Yogi also criticized the Samajwadi Party for lacking the will to advance the institute, and pointed to a broader decline in crime and organized‑mafia activity under his administration.
