Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath launches ₹710 crore Bundelkhand projects and new development schemes in Chitrakoot and
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath announced a series of large‑scale development initiatives across the state. He inaugurated more than 229 projects in the Bundelkhand districts of Banda and Baberu, allocating over ₹710 crore. In Chitrakoot, he launched 124 projects worth ₹950.89 crore, emphasizing infrastructure such as an airport, expressways and new universities. Later the same day he pledged more than ₹1,200 crore for development works in Pratapgarh and Sultanpur districts. During the events he criticised the Samajwadi Party and Congress, saying, “समाजवादी पार्टी भगवान राम से दूरी बनाकर बाबर को अपना आदर्श मानने लगी है,” and warned that opposition politics threatened the region’s progress. The CM highlighted improvements in connectivity, water supply, security and employment, and promised further investment in the defence corridor and other large‑scale projects to transform the region.
