Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath launches massive Bundelkhand development projects

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inaugurated a series of large‑scale development initiatives across the Bundelkhand region. In Hamirpur district he launched over 110 projects worth ₹636 crore, covering road widening, new bridges, expanded "Har Ghar Nal" water supply, and upgrades to health facilities. Later in Lalitpur district he unveiled 221 projects with a total outlay of ₹1,766 crore, including a state medical college, an industrial park, a pharma park, and major irrigation works such as the Arjun auxiliary project, Ratoli, Bhavani, Kachnauda and Majhgaon‑Chilli sprinkler schemes. The programmes aim to boost infrastructure, connectivity, agriculture, industry, and employment, positioning Bundelkhand as a new industrial hub within Uttar Pradesh.

The announcements also featured the distribution of certificates and assistance checks to beneficiaries of various welfare schemes, highlighting efforts to empower women and self‑help groups. Officials were instructed to complete the projects transparently and within set timelines to deliver immediate benefits to the local population.
