Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi orders fire‑safety inspections and reviews infrastructure projects

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath directed that fire NOC certificates in all government and private medical colleges, hospitals and hotels across Uttar Pradesh be verified immediately. Institutions with expired or missing NOCs must receive notice without delay, as the CM stressed that public safety cannot be compromised.

During the same meeting, the CM reviewed progress on several state‑wide development initiatives. Land acquisition for the Farukhabad, Agra‑Lucknow‑Purvanchal, Jhansi and Jewar expressway links is 84.8%, 49.0%, 42.5% and 29.8% complete respectively. He urged accelerated tendering for the Farukhabad link and ensured sufficient land for industrial zones alongside the new expressways. Other items discussed included the Greater Noida multimodal logistics hub, EV‑charging station rollout, data‑centre cluster development, and the removal of high‑tension lines in Lucknow’s municipal area.
