Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath orders railway security overhaul and addresses public grievances
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath directed a modernization of the state’s railway security system, urging the use of advanced technology such as drones, CCTV monitoring, digital verification tools, an inspection app and enhanced intelligence to eliminate crime and stone‑throwing incidents. In a high‑level meeting he reviewed the work of the Government Railway Police, which patrols over 3,000 trains, 1,550 stations and serves more than three million daily passengers across six divisions.
Later, at a Janata Darshan public forum, Adityanath listened to residents’ complaints, ordered prompt investigations into alleged police negligence and illegal encroachments, and pledged swift justice. He also personally assured a financially‑constrained student aspiring to a BTech degree that she would receive admission assistance, underscoring the government’s commitment to removing economic barriers to education.
