Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath pledges financial aid and housing to Gorakhpur residents

On 15 June, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath addressed a crowd of about 200 people during a Janata Darshan at the Gorakhnath temple in Gorakhpur. He assured that the government will provide economic assistance for medical treatment, directing that needy individuals obtain Ayushman cards and, if required, receive discretionary fund support.

He also promised continuous allocation of Prime Minister and Chief Minister housing schemes for applicants. Yogi instructed district and police officials to resolve complaints in areas such as education, electricity, revenue and policing promptly and fairly. The chief minister’s routine included offering blessings at the temple, feeding cows, and interacting with children, encouraging them to study.

These statements signal the state’s intent to broaden welfare outreach for financially vulnerable residents of Uttar Pradesh.
