Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath says new investments end youth migration in Kushinagar

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath told a gathering in Kushinagar that recent investment and job creation are expanding beyond Noida and Ghaziabad to districts such as Kushinagar and Gorakhpur, allowing the state's youth to find work locally without needing to migrate. He blamed the previous Samajwadi Party administration for a lack of development before 2017, alleging corruption and the misuse of ration, healthcare and employment benefits, and linking it to a past encephalitis outbreak that affected thousands of children in the region.

Adityanath claimed the current government has eradicated encephalitis, improved healthcare infrastructure, and delivered welfare schemes for the Musahar community, including land allocation, permanent houses, Ayushman cards, free ration, Ujjwala gas connections and free electricity. He also highlighted law‑and‑order improvements, noting the absence of riots or curfews in the past nine years and stressing that the "double‑engine" government does not tolerate goonism.
