Uttar Pradesh exports ₹47,484 crore to BRICS and partner nations

Uttar Pradesh has recorded exports totaling ₹47,484 crore to BRICS member nations and partner countries. This figure represents approximately 23.7 percent of the state's total exports, which stand at nearly ₹2 lakh crore.

Of the total export value, ₹34,811 crore was sent to BRICS member states, while ₹12,673 crore was exported to partner and associate nations. The state's export profile includes a diverse range of goods such as food products, electrical equipment, machinery, apparel, jewelry, and leather.

Under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the state government is focusing on expanding the global footprint of its traditional industries and manufacturing units. Efforts are being directed toward attracting industrial investment, improving connectivity, and enhancing the ease of doing business to connect local districts with international markets.
