Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show hosts Model United Nations
At the Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show 2026, the ‘Viksit Bharat Model United Nations’ (MUN) provided a platform for students to engage in international diplomacy and global trade discussions.
Over 100 students from 14 schools, ranging from grades 9 to 12, acted as representatives for various countries. The event focused on the theme ‘Viksit Bharat 2047’, aiming to educate the younger generation on the complexities of the global economy, international trade, and supply chain management.
Participants represented World Trade Organization (WTO) member nations and deliberated on critical modern issues, including digital trade moratoriums, rules of origin, automation, artificial intelligence, and e-commerce. The simulation required students to consider the economic conditions and trade policies of their assigned nations to understand how international decisions impact global industries and supply chains.
