Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show showcases regional cuisines

The Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show-2026 is currently showcasing the state's culinary heritage at the India Expo Centre and Mart in Greater Noida. A central feature of the event is the ODOC (One District One Cuisine) pavilion, which presents traditional dishes and local food products from various districts across Uttar Pradesh.

As part of the pavilion's activities, Master Chef classes are being held to demonstrate the preparation of regional specialties. These sessions include live demonstrations of making Thekua, a traditional dish from the Purvanchal region, specifically utilizing jaggery from Mirzapur to highlight local agricultural products.

Renowned chef Harpal Singh Sokhi is expected to attend the Master Chef classes on Sunday, offering visitors the opportunity to learn how to integrate traditional Uttar Pradesh flavors with modern culinary techniques.
