Uttar Pradesh leaders clash over Ayodhya temple trust and Bahujan community accusations

NCP‑SP spokesperson Anish Gawande denounced Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s remarks about Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav, calling them a “politics of distraction.” Gawande questioned the recent resignations of Ram Janmabhoomi Trust officials Champat Rai and Anil Mishra, demanded scrutiny of the trust’s appointments, and highlighted alleged corruption involving large sums of money. He also raised concerns about a pattern of paper‑leak scandals, citing recent leaks of the Teacher Eligibility Test.

Separately, Uttar Pradesh minister Om Prakash Rajbhar launched an aggressive attack on Akhilesh Yadav, accusing the Samajwadi Party of harboring resentment toward Bahujan communities. Rajbhar alleged that SP supporters were preparing to seize land, loot homes, and commit violence against Dalit and other marginalized groups if the party returned to power, and warned of “goons‑thugs‑mafia” targeting police stations.
