Uttar Pradesh police arrest four for IBPS exam cheating

The Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force (STF) has arrested four individuals for allegedly facilitating cheating in Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) examinations in Kanpur Nagar. The gang reportedly targeted candidates in the persons with disability (PwD) category by arranging scribes to help them clear exams through fraudulent means.

The arrested individuals have been identified as Avnish Yadav, Ashish Kumar, Rahul Kumar Sinha, and Ankit Sachan. During the operation, authorities recovered mobile phones, Aadhaar cards, PAN cards, a passport, a bank ATM card, an iPad, a car, and forged documents. Interrogations suggest the involvement of gang leaders Manish Kumar Mishra and Raju Gupta. A case has been registered under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and the Public Examinations Act.
